Tom Vilsack ends presidential campaign

TomvilsackFormer Iowa Govenor Tom Vilsack (D) publicly announced his withdrawal from the 2008 U.S. presidential race last Thursday.

Vilsack's campaign team was struggling to compete with other candidates' campaign funds.

The Washington Post reported that Vilsack was on a path to raise just $1.3 million during the first quarter of the year, an amount other candidates have been able to raise in a single night.

*Wikipedia has Tom Vilsack listed as an official presidential candidate. Wikipedia editors will eventually realize that they need to make a revision.*
